on one side=>apart from the rest
不用加冠詞於one前
On one side, I love the freedom of being single. on the other side the idea of being married and having a family is very attractive

這牽涉到other 與another之差別
other是指兩件事之另一件
another排除一件事之所有的事
您上面的敘述是both sides之"one side" and "the other side "
不能用the one
the one是the only one不會再有the other one
你用hand也是一樣去掉THE
其於就O.K!

這個句子只是一個句子 例如
on the other side of river = 在河的另一邊
但是 on the other hand 是一個連接詞
意思是 另一方面
就像一個人兩隻手但兩隻手各做不同的東西
所以用on the other hand之前可以加on the one hand
用法是引導出互相矛盾的意見或觀點
例子：
一方面, 我很享受單身生活, 在另一方面, 結婚和組織家庭是非常吸引
